My good friend, Kristine was my first client. This shot was taken at our company’s Christmas Party. I did a simple makeup on her because she is already stunning. She was part of the pageant that night and yes she won STAR OF THE NIGHT. ♥

First entry: Why do I love make up?

So I thought this will be a perfect “first” for my make up blog. I want to share to you guys why I love make up?

A little history for all of you: I used to hate make up. I literally don’t like it at all. And then I started to notice pretty girls with make up ad I started to be curious. But I didn’t have the patient to learn. I use to think it’s all so complicated. Then one day we were at the mall when I passed by the makeup brand In2it’s stall. The sales lady offered to do a make over and I was like “okkkaaayyyyy..” After she was done, I loved it! And the best part of it was my hubby loved how I looked to. And he bought every single makeup used by the consultant. That I would say was my first haul. :)

Then I started watching youtube. I started following makeup gurus, and started copying what they do. I knew that I have fallen completely in love with this miracle worker.

Yes, that’s how I see makeups, I think they’re these miracle workers that can do wonders for you as long as you know how to do it right. Whenever I wear makeup, I feel more confident, I feel prettier, I feel good. Which is very important. You have to feel good to look good.

Though I still believe that less is more. Hence, it does work for makeup too.

And that my dear friends is why I love makeup. :)
